We all dream, although many are not aware of their dreams. Those images/stories/gifts that come to us in the middle of the night.
Another kind of dreaming is the kind where a person can see something bigger for themselves - a life they might aspire to. And what I find is that when a person has experienced abuse of any kind as a child, or even before birth, they have a hard time dreaming of something bigger for themselves.
Without the support and love of caretakers/parents who inspire and help a child 'see' and experience a bigger world, a bigger vision, children often can only see what is in front of them. The idea of a bigger vision, bigger aspirations, is foreign. And perhaps scary.
I know this kind of dreaming because I was born to a woman who dreamed 'small' and she was born to a woman who dreamed 'small'. When I realized this I was already at mid-life, wanting more for myself in the world but not really knowing what that was or how to get it.
I will happily share with you what I learned that helped me get out into the world and dream 'bigger'. Call/text me 360-432-1236
