Where is the Magic & the Wonder?

I love this picture: a little one standing in deliberation, surveying the valley in front of him. It reminds me of the magic that lives in children. The possibility. The wonder.

And yet, as we grow older, we often forget the magic, the possibility and the wonder! We simply forget. Forget to think about those 'childish' things. Label them childish. Turn toward seriousness, life concerns...the 'important stuff'.

But I think magic and wonder and possibility ARE the important stuff! Those are the very intangibles that keep our souls young and keep us dancing and singing and living life fully - wide open.
