Trauma and the Nervous System: A Polyvagal Perspective

What in the world is Polyvagal Theory and why would I want to share it with you?

I get a LOT of clients who report that they are anxious - often very anxious. In working with clients I realized a few years ago that if we could 'fix' anxiety with thinking, it would be FIXED. But the mind is not helpful in working with anxiety. It is the body. Hence polyvagal theory.

This month I am going to do as much as I can about anxiety: why we get anxious, what happens in our bodies when we are anxious, or frozen, how we can learn to manage it, and useful, easy 'tools' anyone can learn to help themselves self-regulate.

Keep looking in December for more ideas and resources to help.

I am a catalyst for others, helping people continue, over their entire life span - preconception,
conception, in the womb and after - to grow, learn, heal so that each person can live their deepest longings.

This is my passion and purpose.
