This picture reminds me of being on the move...leaving a place/person/job/situation and moving but not yet having arrived! On the move.
And being on the move can be really hard. Being without, or feeling without a foundation, feeling in transition can bring up feelings of loss, abandonment, insecurity...fear. All of those and more.
And yet...looking a life in a larger frame...from the moment we are born until we die we are always in transition.
Feeling secure is a sense, a concept. Because what really is security? Your house - it can go in a flood or earthquake, fire. Your job - can be changed, shifted or lost in a second. Relationships the same: people change, their desires and needs change and sometimes we lose those we love, or, we leave them.
NOT to be bleak about this...but everything is changing all the time. We just, as humans with our frailties, do not want to see the world in this way.
So notice how you are reacting to change. Just notice. Be curious and if you want to change, take steps to do so.
