 Yesterday I was lucky to sit in sacred circle with Grandmother Margaret Behan, Red Spider Woman, Arapaho-Cheyenne.
Grandmother is a former member of the International Council of Thirteen Grandmothers and a wise and lovely woman. Over twenty people were called to join a few of us who have studied with Grandmother Margaret for a number of years. The topic was "Speaking What Is On Your Heart". As we sat in the beautiful Raven Room at Dancing Cedars in Olympia, Wa, we shared our fears, our anger, our vulnerabilities. What was on our hearts. How to reframe the chaos of the outside world. How to resonate and understand deeply ourselves, others and the wider world. It was a magical day. And who knows where we go from here? Grandmother brought a copy of the new book she is a part of: "Grandmothers Wisdom: Reverence for All. Such a lovely offering to the world.
