I love this thought.
A couple months ago I went to see my therapist (!). I got there early in the am and was walking my dog around a bit to stretch our legs and give her a chance to do her thing.
As we walked around the grass I saw my therapist driving into the parking area. As she saw me she gave a big wave, a big smile and I felt so welcomed. So welcomed. It felt really, really good.
I try and remember that every day. With each encounter with clients and even, to a lesser degree, with people I encounter in different settings.
We all want to feel seen, valued...respected and supported.
I hope you are in a place, as you read this, where you can reflect on how you are welcoming, supporting and seeing others. Valuing others.
And if not, what more can you do?
