What will you learn? We will meet Saturday mornings for six weeks, 9 am to 10:30 am. In the class you will learn different calming and 'anxiety management' tools, practice them, and have time each night to give and get support. The support of others is one of the most important elements of the workshop: knowing that others are also having problems - and that all of you can begin to use new skills to calm and quiet the body and mind.
Each week we begin with a short guided meditation and follow that with time to share what each person has been feeling, learning, and practicing between sessions. Each week we will do 'Tapping', a proven method for managing anxiety - and other issues. If we are meeting in-person, we will be doing T.R.E., an amazingly natural way for your body move into regulation and calm.
In the first session the group will create a safe and confidential 'container' for each person to do their work.
