Persistence

It is never too late for new growth. Small trees and ferns grow on fallen logs, little plants bloom in the most unlikely places. Awful things happen to people and babies are born.

Not always perfect.

But persistent.

So if you want change in your life, in you, in your relationships...how persistent are you? If you find a tool, thought or skill that works...do you practice it? I have a client who is trying to remember to 'pause', to take a moment to come into balance from either freeze or fight/flight because when she does, she can think! She can asses - very quickly - how to proceed. But she is having a hard time remembering to pause.

I suggested she put PAUSE signs in her home and car. Places she would look or notice.

If she comes back in a couple of weeks and tells me the PAUSE signs are helping, I know she is being persistent in her intention to heal. If not...well, the results are not as good. If there are any positive results.

So...how persistent are you? How invested in your healing?
