How do you navigate change? Change is happening all the time, from the smallest cellular changes in our bodies to our lives, friendships, habits...to the world. From the micro to the macro.
So how do you navigate change? We learn about life from watching our parents or caregivers as wee little ones. And even before we are born we are aware of what is happening outside of us. Think of the changes happening all the time in the womb as the little one grows and grows. How does Mom navigate the changes to her body? To her life? And if she is partnered, how does the partner do with change. Think about the huge change coming once baby is born: life will never be as it was.
Personally I saw change in my family met with anxiety and uncertainty by one of my parents, and ease with the other. And in my life I have seen these two styles played out in my way of living/thinking many, many times. The good news is I am aware and can compensate as needed to either style. And I have, over many years, developed my own style.
If you are having a hard time with change, maybe I can help. I am a really good listener who is focused, when we are talking, on how best to help you. Call/text 360-432-1236.
