I Am Not the Same

In the Fall of 1998 I headed to India with a small group of people to study, with Pat Moffitt-Cook, healers who used sound as their healing 'tool'. It was an amazing 10 days with them and then, the night before Thanksgiving, they all flew home. 

I spent the night in Delhi, not sleeping, and the next day headed to a bus station bound for Dharamasala. The home residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

One night several months later as I sat on a beach in Kerala, on the Southwest coast of India, I watched the moon come up. And this quote immediately rang true for me. After time alone backpacking into Nepal, Darjeeling, across the northern part of India back to Delhi and then, down the western coast to Goa and into Kerala...I decidedly was NOT the same person. Not. Still not.
