Gratitude. A word with huge meanings: being thankful, offering kindness and a readiness to show appreciation.
Have you ever tried to have a gratitude list? Maybe 10 things every day you are thankful for? Did it help you? I know many people who do have ways of documenting gratitude, often on a daily basis. Making attending to their gratitude a part of a ritual they do every day. Some people - like me - are not so organized.
I do know that when I am down and I begin to think of what I am grateful for - NOT in a phony way but truly, in my heart - I feel better. Even if it is just a little bit better, it helps.
